Our workshops/presentations cover the traditional and not so traditional basics that insure the development of Career and Personal Effectiveness Skills. They are unique in that they provide participants with innovative processes of experimental training and exercises that become meaningful learning experiences. Mardac’s training gives participants dynamic and practical tools to enhance and improve their on-the-job skills. Sessions are custom designed to meet an organization’s specific needs.

Marge Dathe Cieri

marge_cieriMarge Dathe Cieri, founder of Mardac Consultants, brings over 25 years of expertise to the fields of Human Resource Management and Training. She specializes in organizational development, management and employee training, mediation, coaching, and personnel systems. Marge spent 15 years as an adjunct professor at Linfield College’s School of Business and eight years as an adjunct professor at the University of Oregon’s College of Business Administration. She also was a Master Trainer for the world’s largest training company for over ten years and is the author of Adaptive Leadership Training Systems. Marge has a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology both from the University of Oregon. Marge received her mediation certification from Confluence Northwest, Portland, Oregon and a coaching certificate from The Coaches Training Institute, San Rafael, California. Marge also holds a Master’s Certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the NLP Institute of Oregon, Ashland, Oregon.

Mike Cieri, MSIR

mike_cieriMike Cieri, MSIR, has been in the Human Resource Management field for over 20 years. During this time he has held a variety of management positions, including several years on the executive management team of a large corporation as Vice President of Human Resources and Safety, as well as Vice President of Operations. His areas of expertise include legal compliance, workers’ compensation, leadership development, performance management, coaching, training and development, compensation analysis, strategic planning, and developing best practices. Mike has a Masters degree in Industrial Relations & Human Resources from the University of Oregon, is a Certified Safety Director, and a national speaker. He has a coaching certificate from The Coaches Training Institute, San Rafael, California and Practitoner’s Certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the NLP Institute of Oregon. Mike also is an adjunct professor at Oregon State University as well as at Northwest Christian University in the college of business.

Claire Cieri, CPCO, CHC, CPMA, CHCA, CPC, CEMC, MS

Claire Cieri, CPCO, CHC, CPMA, CHCA, CPC, CEMC, MS is a Certified Medical Compliance Officer, Auditor and Coder through the AAPC, HCCA, and AHCAE. She had performed numerous medical audits for different medical specialties; including dermatology, ob-gyn, primary care and internal medicine. Her emphasis is on compliance and education with the goal of revenue retention. She is knowledgeable about Meaningful Use, ACOS/CCOS, Patient Centered Primary Care Homes and other new medical policies. She has taught professional workshops on Medical Chart Auditing and Compliance Plans. She has also taught courses on Coding, Billing and HIPAA at a local technical college. She received her B.A. from Smith College and her M.S. from the University of Oregon.

Carol Matthews-Monroe

carolCarol Matthews-Monroe has extensive management experience in both the private and public sectors. Her areas of expertise are Cultural Competency, coaching, mentoring, staff development, training, performance appraisals, process evaluation, interpretation and administration of federal and state regulations and laws, and project management. Of Native American, Black Irish, and Cajun heritage, she was tribal liaison for the University of Oregon and Oregon Student Assistance Commission, agency representative for government to government to enhance relationships between the Confederated Tribes of Oregon and government offices. Carol has provided seminars to Oregon tribes, Title IX federal programs, and provided cultural, educational and personnel training at state, regional and national conferences. Carol has developed affirmative action plans, assessed organizational needs, and has mentored students on cultural diversity issues. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Northwest Christian University in Management and Organizational Development with an additional focus in Human Resource Management. She holds a certificate for Cultural Competency trainer from the State of Oregon and has taught Diversity classes at Lane Community College as well as guest speaking at several major universities.

Richard D. “Denny” Charlton, Ph.D.

Richard D. “Denny” Charlton, Ph.D., focuses on people, bringing behavior science to business in a way to motivate change. Dr. Charlton has consulted in the areas of team-building, executive coaching, rapid problem resolution in business systems, and management development since 1985. He seeks to work with clients who are highly proactive and bold in their strategies for maximizing the performance of their people. “You hire a person for their skills but the whole person comes to work.”

Dr. Charlton has extensive training in both individual and group psychological interventions. He has 25 years of experience in performing in-depth assessments of a wide variety of performance problems and issues. He is very familiar with a wide range of assessment procedures, both individual and multi-rater, designed to help understand behavioral issues related to the business environment. He is experienced in individual consultation strategies to bring about timely and enduring behavior change. He is certified in the use of the WorkPlace Big Five Profile. He has studied systems theory extensively and has adapted rapid problem resolution strategies to complex business problems.
